JACK FEIERMAN (Trumpet)
  Jack, who sits in the “first chair,” began studying music at the age of four, on the piano, switching to trumpet when he was thirteen. As a trumpet player, he has been associated with some of the country’s finest swing band, including Henry Mancini, Billy May, Stan Kenton, Woody Herman, Freddy Martin, Sam Donahue, Sy Zentner, Claude Thornhill, Harry James, Richard Maltby, Tex Beneke, Tonh Pastor, Billy Butterfield, Count Basie and the list goes on. Jack is in demand as a studio musician, for television and movies; conducted at Carnegie Hall and for Broadway musicals. He served as musical conductor for, among others, Johnny Mathis, Frank Sinatra, Herb Albert, Andy Williams, Natalie Cole, Paul Anka, and for twenty-two years as musical director for Steve Lawrence and Edyie Gorme.
